Trinity Center welcomes guests of all ages and backgrounds to experience God's creation through work, study, and play on the North Carolina coast.
Welcome to Trinity Center, an island refuge on the Southern Outer Banks. Come and walk our beaches or stand and watch the sunset on our sound-side pier, and perhaps catch a glimpse of the snowy white egret or majestic blue heron.
Trinity Center has three primary focal points: Trinity Conference and Retreat Center, Camp Trinity, and Sound to Sea Environmental Education Program.
While owned and operated by The Episcopal Church, Trinity Conference and Retreat Center is open to the public and regularly hosts all types of groups. We welcome religious organizations of all denominations, non-profits, family reunions, schools and colleges, business and government entities, as well as youth groups and individuals on retreat.
Our residential Episcopal summer camp, Camp Trinity, is centered on Christian fellowship and is designed to encourage spiritual and emotional growth. Active and fun programming offers ample opportunities for campers to develop new interests, skills, and life-long friendships. Camp Trinity is open to all campers regardless of religious affiliation.
The only residential environmental education program on the Outer Banks is Trinity’s Sound to Sea Environmental Education Program. During the school year, Sound to Sea offers school groups a multi-disciplinary hands-on learning experience focusing on the habitats found on our barrier island. These programs are closely linked to the NC Standard Course of Study. In the summer, Sound to Sea offers a Day Camp program, popular with locals and summer residents. While the Sound to Sea Environmental Education Program is hosted at Trinity Center, it is a secular science-based program open to public and private schools alike.
